There is a missing pin on the brush. Why?

We let one hole free in order to let the hair pass through, making the brush pneumatic.

Shall I wash my brush?

It’s a good hygienic rule to wash the brushes with lukewarm water and neutral soap, without letting them soak. Once it’s washed, wipe with a towel, and not under a direct heat source.

Which type of brush is suitable for my hair?

To choose the ideal brush for your hair, first consider your hair type and structure. If you have fine, delicate hair, a soft bristle brush, such as a boar bristle brush, which is ideal for reducing breakage and adding shine. For thick, curly hair, opt for a wide-tooth detangling brush or afro comb, which can handle knots without damaging the hair. If you want to reduce frizz and distribute natural oils, a wooden brush can be an excellent choice. For styling with heat, consider a thermal brush. Finally, take your styling needs and the health of your scalp into account when choosing the most suitable brush. If you have any other doubts, please contact our customer service via WhatsApp.

In my hair take shape a lot of nodes: shall I use a comb or a brush?

Comb is useful to unwrap the knots, always starting with the ends. Once detangled, brushing is recommended both for a scalp massage and to distribute the naturally occurring oils and make the lengths moisturized and shinier.

I have scalp hypersensitivity: what can I use to brush my hair without pain?

A wooden brush with natural bristles is an ideal choice for those with skin hypersensitivity. Natural bristles are softer and gentler on the skin than synthetic bristles, thus reducing the risk of irritation and redness. In addition, wood is a material that naturally absorbs moisture, keeping the skin drier and preventing the growth of bacteria.

What kind of wood we select for our brushes and combs?

The handles of our brushes can be made of ash, beech, olive, ovangkol or mahogany depending on the collection. The pins, on the other hand, are made of hornbeam wood because it is more suitable for its function.

What material is the substrate on which the teeth and bristles are inserted made of?

All the pneumatic parts of our brushes are produced with natural pure rubber. We use rubber because is softer and antistatic. Plus, it’s entirely biodegradable, since it is not derived from petroleum like plastic.

Where do our brushes’ bristles and pins come from?

Pins are in natural wood. Then there are different kinds of bristles: they can be synthetic or coming from animal – like wild boar – or vegetal – like tampico. All bristles are put under a productive process to be sterilized. Finally, all bristles are certificated and garanted.

What kind of colorants are used to paint our brushes and combs?

All our items are colored with non-toxic vegetal origin pigments: while the natural brushes and combs are treated with linseed oil and pure carnauba wax, this treatment needs to maintain wood incorruptibility.

Which is the difference between a bristles brush and a wooden teeth brush?

Brushes with vegan or wild boar bristles are perfect to give volume to the hair. The brush with wooden teeth is suitable for healthy hair and scalp as it massages the skin, absorbs excess sebum, reactivates blood circulation, does not tear the hair, and is hypoallergenic and antistatic.

Which is the difference between a thermic brush and a wild boar roll brush?

The thermal brush speeds up styling time because it spreads the heat of the blow dryer's air evenly. The boar roller brush, on the other hand, is known for its ability to naturally distribute scalp oils along the hair, helping to improve its health and shine.

What is the difference between a wooden brush and a bamboo brush?

Wood comes from trees, while bamboo is an herbaceous plant, which means that wooden brushes are much more durable than bamboo brushes precisely because of the nature of the material. In addition, wooden brushes offer more variety in the choice of wood type, which can affect the strength and feel. In addition, wood can offer better distribution of natural oils on the hair, contributing to healthy scalp and lengths. Wood brushes are therefore often chosen for their quality, durability, and specific hair care benefits.

What is the difference between a wooden brush and a plastic brush?

Plastic and wooden brushes have significant differences in both materials and hair benefits. Although plastic brushes are cheaper, they can create static electricity in the hair, causing frizz and mess. In contrast, wooden brushes reduce static electricity, helping to keep hair smooth and manageable. Wooden teeth evenly distribute natural oils from the scalp along the hair shaft, improving shine and health. In addition, wooden brushes provide a gentle massage to the scalp, stimulating blood circulation and contributing to hair growth. Choosing a wooden brush can therefore be a step toward more natural and effective hair care, as well as an environmentally responsible choice since it is totally biodegradable, unlike plastic brushes, which produced from petroleum, are very polluting.

By using wooden brushes and combs, do we deforest the planet?

Our brushes are handmade with a 100% FSC® certificated woods. FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council) is an international organization to certify wood isn’t as not coming from a wild deforestation. Instead, through this organization, we commit ourselves to replant any tree we’re using, to promote a sustainable circle. Finally, each piece of wood is trackable through its whole journey.

How often shall I change my brush?

We highly recommend you change our brush every 2 years, o maintain the original qualities of the wood.
